“Standard Mandarin” is designed for overseas Mandarin-speaking children learners or Chinese immigrant children who have some Mandarin exposure. The textbook's colorful illustrations and photos provide meaningful context to words and situations, making each lesson authentic and appealing to children. "Kuaile Hanyu" is sponsored by China National Office for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language (NOCFL), and targeted at overseas middle school students (12-15 yrs) whose want to learn Mandarin as a foreign language fro the beginning level. It consists of six books with three levels, with both a student's book?teacher's book?flash cards, wall map and listening materials at each level. Both the contents and the formats have strong emphasis on teenagers developmental characters and interest topics. It aims on developing an intermediate level of Chinese communicative competency, and a solid foundation for further study in Chinese language and culture. The "Zhong Wen" Chinese Language Text Book is compiled by the Chinese Language College of Jinan University for Overseas Chinese and their children, and for anyone who wish to learn Chinese language. It is sponsored by the Office of Overseas Chinese Affairs under the State Council of the People's Republic of China. The goal of the "Zhong Wen" Chinese language Text Book is to teach students to acquire the basic abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing of mandarin Chinese language, master the general knowledge of the Chinese culture after the studying and drilling of the 12 volumes. It will lay a solid foundation for students to learn Chinese language in advanced level. |
